Concrete repair at front entrance is considered a temporary and cosmetic repair. This 3/4 inch cap is poured over this front entrance slab. Not that it's hiding anything because it is not, but something needs to be said for why it was done. The logical reason is because the slab was broken apart so much that it was easier to cover it than to break it apart. Makes sense to me. There are better ways to make a repair like this. This one won't last very long and it will need something done to it again.
