Now we're getting somwhere! The foundation of this house in Irving has moved much more than it should have considering it's age but not considering it's location. Irving, Texas has a reputation that the locals are quite aware of. The corner of the garage overhead door has a built-in crawl space for a small pet. Not acceptable in most other parts of north Texas, but Irving has to raise the bar so to speak regarding what is acceptable foundation movement. A beautiful area, Irving, but it's soils are not friendly to the houses they support.
