This gets a litte more disconcerting. This should not be happening to most homes that are under 20 years of age. A house built in the 40's or 50's and even the 60's perhaps. Actually the age of a house has everything to do with the level of tolerance one has for these kinds of things. It's easy to say that this particular house may need to be "structurally adjusted". Trimming the door to make it work is not a good plan.
